Harford County Tea Partiers members,

During the past 4 years Roy Whitely and I met with various members of the County Council.

Among the more responsive members was Councilman Jim McMahan known to us locally as Captain Jim.

His voting record indicates the following during the past 4 years:

He has voted to reduce the tax cap on two occasions.

He voted to reduce the tax rate itself on two occasions.

He voted to remove the fee charged by the county for those individuals who desired to pay their tax bill in two
installments.

He voted to reduce the impact fee back to its original level.

Capt’n Jim also voted to reduce the size of government leading the way to a smaller more efficient IT department
which led to over Two Million dollars in savings.

He was also a co sponsor of the Community Input Legislation that allows the public more input into the development process.

Capt Jim McMahan has worked tirelessly for our constituents these past 4 years-cutting big government at
every opportunity and ferreting out all the government waste he finds. He is a true tax cutter! Not just
promises…..Capt Jim delivers!”
