You may have recently received a call from the Emergency 911 Center testing the countywide ALERTING system. Home telephone numbers are public record and can be downloaded by emergency notification centers. Cell phone numbers and e-mail addresses are not public record. IF you desire to be notified via your cell phone or e-mail, you need to go on line and voluntarily enter that information. It is easy to do. Go to www.harfordpublicsafety.org. Click on the box in the banner SIGN UP NOW and follow the instructions.

Individuals who wish to apply for the Maryland State Property Tax Credit and/or Harford County's Supplemental Property Tax Credit need fill out only one form to apply for both programs. The State will automatically calculate both the State and County credits. If an application has already been filed for the State credit, there is no need to send in another.Application forms can be downloaded online from the site listed above, or they can be obtained at the Harford County Office on Aging, all Harford County Senior Centers, and at all branches of the Harford County Public Library
